Trust scores summarize identity consistency, domain history, public testing information, contact responsiveness, buyer feedback, and unresolved reports. Scores are informational, not endorsements.
Score components
Identity & domain consistency — 25%
Business name, website, contact channels, domain history, and payment identity should be consistent.
Documentation visibility — 20%
Public policies, batch or laboratory information, and document traceability are reviewed for clarity and consistency.
Support & transaction signals — 20%
Communication quality, response patterns, published shipping terms, and dispute handling contribute to the score.
Moderated buyer feedback — 20%
Approved reviews are considered with recency, detail, duplicate detection, and supplier responses.
Open reports & resolution history — 15%
Unresolved reports can reduce a score. Resolved reports remain visible when context is important.
Editorial review
Automated arithmetic does not replace moderation. Scores can be held, changed, or annotated when evidence conflicts.
